Taking pleasure in the company of friends and loved ones, enjoying good food and good conversation:
Enriching their minds with art and culture:
Feeling the adrenaline rush of cheering for their team:
Taking a moment to enjoy the beauty of their surrounds and the wondrous world we live in:
"I fear the day when technology will surpass our humanity. The world will then be populated by a generation of idiots." -- Albert Einstein
Love this! I make a point of turning off my cell whenever I'm in a restaurant, doctor's office or business and wish more people would. There is nothing more unappetizing or disturbing than being forced to listen to one half of a bad conversation.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and it's pretty rude.
DeleteWell who's gonna argue with EINSTEIN?? Not me, matey!!!
ReplyDeleteNope, I reckon he'd steamroller me!
DeleteOh God thats so true (and been guilty of it myself also)
ReplyDeleteMy husband does it too. Drives me NUTS.

ReplyDeleteWell, good for you! at least SOMEONE remembered their manners.
