today.....

This picture hurts my heart.

Today, I am thinking -- I am not in pain. I have not faced numerous operations, with many many more to come. I can walk and eat and hug my kids without it hurting me. I can walk through my local shops without people staring at me. I am alive and well. And I am thankful.

Stephanie, you are a truly amazing woman. Bless you.

If you havent yet read Stephanies' blog, you can find it here.

reindeer cards

I got a lovely package in the mail the other day, full of T!m Holtz goodness. So I've been busily trying out techniques from the 12 Tags of Christmas series and made these using the lovely reindeer stamp. Keep in mind that I'm NOT a card-maker....

T!ms' instructions are so clear and easy to follow. I just wish I had aaaallllll the goodies... :)

Katies' b'day album

I made this using a Kaiser tag album, the Childs' Play range, and some odds and ends. The cupcake is mine -- I made it using a chippie tag shape, brown ink, and texture paste, with a cherry on top {made with a chippie circle, red ink and Glossy Accents.}
Kate loves her album :)

she's finally FIVE!

Poor Kate. She told us yesterday she's been waiting for YEARS to be five! But she's made it at last. :D
She got a Big Girl bike from Daddy, which was hugely exciting.

And we had pink cuppycupcakes, because pink ones are the best.
