Do you do that?
I take the phone off the hook, I don't go out, I don't speak.
It isn't because I have nothing to say. It's because the things I would say are too big. They might hurt people. They might hurt me.
Right now, I have a lot of heavy stuff going on in my life. I may blog about it but if I do, I'll be guest posting somewhere anonymously.
In the meantime, I'm finding it really hard to talk about light stuff - which is why my blog has been so neglected.
I hope you'll stick with me.
This will all be over one day.
Oh Toni, I'm sorry things are not the best at the moment. I do hope that life gets easier, lighter, brighter soon.

thanks chick. That means more than you know.

I just want to thank each one of you who took the time to comment on this post. It means a great deal to me.
ReplyDeleteThankyou.
It took me five days to get to the back of my feedreader backlog and see this post, which makes me a very bad blogging friend...but I'm still here too, and also wishing you comfort and easier times, and looking forward to you writing again.
ReplyDeleteTake care xx
Hello beautiful lady. Apologies for being absent ... I've kinda fallen off the blogatron a little when it comes to visiting others. I just wanted to let you know that I am only an email away. If you need to vent I am a good "listener".
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs and butterfly kisses

Hello lovely lady (you really are Rita Hayworth reincarnated - and don't forget she was a bon-e-fied princess)
ReplyDeleteWe ALL have things that are too big to verbalise a few times in our lifetimes. Most of the time though, we can't get over it until we let go of it.
I always find that telling a dog the problem is the best answer. They sit with you without complaining, they let you gently touch them without wriggling away, they never turn to you and say "I know - when I I I . . . , AND at the end of your verbal vomit they turn their head on its side and lick your face.
So go find yourself a strange dog and let it all out :) xoxox
Dammit - I hit the button twice - sorry. L. Pia
ReplyDeleteIt's all good Pia, I fixed it.
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE THE LOVELIEST BUNCH OF READERS, do you all know that? I feel very privileged to 'know' you all.
