Oh, dear...

Dear Man in the Cinema,

if you MUST comment loudly and offer your opinions all the way through the film, could you at least think of something original, or witty, or at least interesting, to say? Being loud AND banal wins you no friends at the movies.

Trust me on this.

Dear friends,

do not spend half your childrens' inheritance on a trip to the cinema to see John Carter. Wait till it comes out on DVD, and don't see it then, either.

  4. lol!! You know, I was at the cinema yesterday and the man in front of me was on his ipod the *whole* time (Facebook) and the family behind me never shut up. What happened to basic movie courtesy?

  5. Kristin - I know, right? it's like that old joke
"Where do people with bad coughs go?"
    "To the movies."

E & Shar -- yeah. Disappointing. Holes in the plot you could drive a truck through.

  8. It's a park-your-brain-at-the-door-and-eat-popcorn movie. Not BAD -- just not GOOD.

  9. I had heard that it was a bit of a dud.

I am so with you on people who talk in movies. Why on earth do they come to watch, I give em' about 2 mins grace after the trailers end before I start glowering at them until they stop, I win some I lose some :)

Hey, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I love to hear what you have to say even if you disagree with me. I have only one request -- please keep it polite.
Thankyou.
