ya think I spend too much time on-line?

When I moved our bookcases, I took the opportunity to completely re-organise our books. Arranged loosely by genre, then author, and finally chronologically where necessary.
That makes sense, right?

But.

Because we're impatient, or broke, we've ended up with series of books in several different editions, which means some are hardbacks, some paperbacks, some large, some small.

I nearly went mad trying to make them look neat in the shelves, and at one point caught myself thinking,
"THESE BOOKS ARE MESSING UP MY FORMATTING!"

  3. Oh yes, you can't just hit 'justify' & have them all line up neatly filling the entire shelf perfectly, then change font to all be equal. We have so few books it amazes people we have children & attended university!! Love Posie

  4. Hardbacks together, paperbacks together, large together, small together, then do the sorting by author, genre, whatever. Or just go random with sizing, but alphabetical by author.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I love to hear what you have to say even if you disagree with me. I have only one request -- please keep it polite.
Thankyou.
